sodium acetate snow melting for airport
Sodium acetate has been developed as a new kind of environment-friendly snow-melting agent for melting the ice and snow in airstrip, parking apron and taxiway in very short time.
Sodium Acetate Deicer is made of organic salts which is prepared by reacting sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate with acetic acid in aqueous solution. The solution is evaporated to obtain hydrated crystals of sodium acetate. Sodium Acetate is giving off heat as it dissolves, melting ice faster than common deicers.
